SSIS Error : "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not read the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file. The input WSDL file is not valid

Problem:

I have a web service task that worked fine prior to upgrading from SQL Server 2005, but in 2012 fails with an error saying the "wsdl file is invalid".  I am using the same wsdl file as I was using in 2005.  Connectivity tests for the web service connection manager in 2012 worked fine. Any ideas on why I would be getting a failed wsdl file when it worked ok on the 2005 platform?  Below is the specific error:

[Web Service Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebserviceTaskException: Could not read the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file. The input WSDL file is not valid. The following error occurred while reading the file. There is an error in XML document (3, 2)..
   at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTaskUtil..ctor(Object connection, String downloadedWSDL)
   at Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.WebServiceTask.WebServiceTask.executeThread()".

Solution :

I was able to resolve the wsdl error problem thanks to a post from another forum.  Basically, the resolution involved rendering the wsdl file in a browser by appending ?wsdl to the URL, then saving and pointing to this file for the web service task.  Thought I would post this in case anyone has a similar issue. This was only a problem after upgrading the SSIS project with the web service task to 2012

Problem : have installed Analysis service on my server machine through remote login from my service account. I am able to open Analysis services from there. Solution : Based on my research, the issue was caused by the Browser Service account was changed to the domain account. In your scenario, you can try to connect to the Analysis Service using <Servername>:2383 instead of instance name. Or you can change the Browser Service account to "Local System".

Problem : When we have Multiple Namespaces in the Xml Source which we need to load the Data from   as we shown below Then we will face a issue in generating XSD for that XML Error : Unable to infer the XSD from the XML file. SSIS has an XML task that can do the transformation. 1) Add the XML task to an SSIS   Control Flow and edit it. 2) Change the OperationType property value to XSLT, the SourceType to File connection and the Source to your source file that has the problem. 3) Set the SaveOperationResult property to True and expand the OperationResult branch.
